I am just saying that I think the pool of people that this will affect will be pretty low from everything I have read, so not all ARMs that FNM and FRE are eligible for this thing. We tend to fly off the handle, let our emotions get the best of us and make a lot of assumptions on this board sometimes. I really think this is more of a PR campaign like the other efforts at keeping people in their homes. It is supposed to be good press for the administration, but in the end, it will just***** people off. Why should anyone be rewarded for being stupid, not doing the math and not reading the docs with the biggest investment of their life.....And, what investor is ever going to invest in these products again if the gov't can come in and just change the terms...I expect backlash from investors.
