Two giant news stories, Bernanke affirms possibility of additional rate cuts AND a bailout program to fix interest rates for at risk home owners. ON THE VERY SAME DAY that IBs end there calendar year AND on which there bonuses are so dependent. I know, I know, I'm waxing tinfoilish here. There could NEVER be any collaboration between the FED, the treasury and the IBs. Why...why...that would suggest that our goverment was shall I say....less than ethical? And if you don't have faith in your government to do the right thing, why, what do you have? So the financials went insane today, every single last one of them and all things related to homebuilding although its not represented in the indices so much, as it is in certain ETFs.
