Viper, the problem with this is that the "1/2 of the retrace" can easily come on a gap down open that wipes the floor with you, just as the huge run north did to people who were short. If that happens, you're screwed. I don't see why people have a desire to chase north here. You're IMHO nuts. We're at a shorting inflection point, not the other way around. The risks are all to the downside and if you think we can't gap down 50 on the SPX and even more on the NDX, I strongly suggest you take a look at the 2000-03 tapes. 2007-12-01 11:53:03
