Mrholty Posts: 1134 Registered: 2007-07-27 Wisconsin	My brother in law is a manager of a used car lot in WI. The dealership network they have been a part of has 11 lots and he told me that they all are down 25% YOY except for his. He run the used lot and has hit sales records this whole fall because with gas at $3.00/gallon no one is carrying trucks. He however is the only guy in town with used trucks. He is seeing folks coming in off of lease on a big SUV and going and buying an older truck. They still want the truck or SUV they just cannot afford the big payments. In addition Honda is the new car lot that he knows of doing well. Toyota is even struggling. Another interesting aside and good for him is that his bonuses have been huge as they are putting people in cars with 10% interest rates. He figures that he is losing 20% of his sales because people can't get financing. We'll hes been smart and banking his bonus lately for the upcoming storm. 2007-12-01 11:57:40
