I am a professional shopper meaning I get to the stores on a regular basis. I shop at Nordstrom's, The Rack, Best Buy to name a few and comparing last year to this year right arond now there is actually no comparison. The stores are empty and for them to be empty around this time of the year is nothing short of scary.

I also eat out quite often 2-3 times a week and at nice places such as Flemings, Mortons, Ruths Chris & last night Bob Chins Crab House. Last night when I walked into Bob Chin's and if any knows this place you would know that it's one of the top 5 grossing places to eat in this country, The place was dead at 8:45 on a Friday. The place seats 650 and there were maybe 40 people in the joint.

This only leads me to believe that the consumer is tapped out. I like Karl live in a very Ritzy area north of Chicago known as the North Shore & people are hurting bad. The goverment sooner or later won't be able to hide the truth & when as Karl mentions stand back & watch out. This isn't going to be pretty and all the spin they want to throw in won't help. Any pump here is going to be for 1 reason and 1 reaon only......WALL STREET BONUS'S!
