I am not going to be debt-free - not even close - by the time this deflation-recession begins, which I believe is within weeks. I live literally paycheck-to-paycheck, and have a lot of student loan debt, and one fairly large credit card balance. I'm one of the "****ed" people. I know we may not agree on everything, Karl - you have your opinions, and I have mine. That's cool. But one thing we do agree upon is that we are not just heading for a recession, we are hurtling head-long toward a DEPRESSION. A global one, this time. Whether or not you believe it was planned, or merely accidental, is going to be irrelevant when we're all fighting and killing each other over crumbs of bread, just to keep from starving to death. 2007-12-01 15:15:13
