Finding gloves that fit me has been a problem.

Although winter is mostly over, I would still like to get some warm winter work gloves as I'll need them for future winters.

Most recently my wife got me some XL ones, I forget which brand. They are too small to the point that I don't even think I can get them on my hands, let alone do any useful work while wearing them.

Does anyone know of somewhere to get good warm work gloves in XXL size?

I use the Kinco 1927KW for working/skiing in 0-20F weather, and it comes in Sasquatch sizes. If it gets above 20 they are too warm for doing work. If you're just sitting there, you might need something warmer.

Add a coat of Sno-Seal for waterproofness.

One of the most effective / craziest sounding things you can do is wear a pair of the blue nitrile surgical gloves next to skin as a vapor barrier. It feels disgusting, but it adds 10-15F to any pair of gloves easily and keeps your hands soft.

For even colder, go find a pair of large Army surplus M1965 trigger finger mitt shells, Snoseal them, and get the woolen undermitts too. They are HUGE. In fact, post your palm circumference and hand length (wrist to tip of middle finger) sizes and I'll check to see if my M1965 will fit.

Don't bother with any glove made by the mainstream outdoor manufacturers - North Face, Marmot, Black Diamond, Outdoor Research, etc. I've tried them all and they all just fall apart in short order if you're using them for anything more strenuous than lifting a ski pole.

Thx Grf. Installed a wood burning stove this winter, pushed 4 cords through the thing and it really did the trick. January I used less than 80 gallons of oil but the house was 80 deg + in some parts :)) That said, I ripped through a couple pairs of gloves. Your info, priceless.

I order my work gloves from Galeton:

https://www.galeton.com/webapp/wcs/store....

taking a look, they have some XXL sizes. But for some items, you have to order in bulk, like 5 or a dozen at a time. Works for me though, cause it saves me shipping, as I use gloves for gardening, etc, all year around.
