They told me if I voted for John McCain, an idiot would be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Sure enough...

and in this year of 2011 I think it is more possible to have an ice age before any global warming disaster.

The earth heats up a little. ( not enough to kill everybody )

Ice caps melt a little more.

The salinity of ocean water changes ( diluted by fresh water ice ) and makes it a little less dense.

Higher water temp ( because there is less ice too cool ) makes water less dense.

The ocean pump shuts down because the less dense water ( cooler and less saline ) doesnt sink and keep the pump going.

Everybody freezes pretty much.

This can happen really fast once the tipping point is reached.

It goes something like that and I believe it is more probable ( and possibly sooner ) then carbon dioxide creating havoc in a hundred years.

The post I was trying to re-post here was an animated .gif, which alternated the two covers. I will try to reproduce them ......

Starving- Dont you also remember when every talk show was spouting global over population issues. Hell they used to extrapolate human growth to unrealistic degrees and tell you the earth would fall out of the sky from all the weight. LMAO

( Yes I do believe population is/will be a problem but some of the assertions were silly. )

I do remember how overpopulation was going to do us all in.
