I dunno, but the 8th grade civics class just got an assignment to research an economic event. They can choose from a list which includes the Tulip Mania, the Panic of 1893, The Long Depression (1873-9) or the Long Term Capital Management collapse. ...Maybe he wants the kids to be able to recognize a Ponzi scheme.

Yesterday evening I cracked LEVERAGE and see that it will be an excellent resource for my child, although she will be required to cite several other sources as well.
