I wonder how accurate her work is though? So many records have destroyed over the years and no way to determine if child X, Y or Z was legit and sired by the patriarch.

I've wondered before if the purpose of our military being in Afghanistan was to secure resources to feed Chinese manufacturing. The bankers have no national allegiance and the resources need to go where their money is being made. Is this nonsense?

Definitely related to the topic- but maybe indirectly- I am curious if any of you folks have read up and/or have any opinions on some of Norman Dodd's opinions on the impact of foundation moneys on our country?

In short, I've been fascinated for better part of 20 years on why our country is so different from say my Dad's time- Korean war vet, auto worker, to retirement- compared to our present time.

I've read a lot- Bork,Horowitz,Chesterton, CS Lewis, and Malachi Martin perspectives on Antonio Gramsci- to name just a few. Questions about not just our finance but also our thinking, our education, our people, our morals. We are just so different- how did it happen??

Norman Dodd had a lot to say about both- banking and education- and the effect of foundation money and influence has had on our country. One on his Congressional Report to Congress in the fifties (link below 1st) and an interview w/Griffin (2nd link).

Very interesting, telling and troubling at the same time- if to be believed. In watching the events of Cyprus and the potential outcomes, his interview echo's in head.

Dodd comes off as a truly genuine person...but I'm always open to constructive criticism- which I haven't really found on him. Any opinions- fire away- I'd be curious...

I have been aware of the international banking cartel's global dominance since the turn of the 18th Century. I would hope that those who have watched this might shift the focus of their anger toward the international banking cartel. It is time to focus on this. How can we stop it? Look, my second sig line says it all. The international banking cartel is the blood enemy of the people. Let me be clear. Modern economies need credit to grow and thus some form of credit origination is needed. But we certainly needn't allow that credit originating institution to gamble with our money. Let them place their own money at risk. I offer this first step toward credit origination in the public interest - provide deposit insurance (e.g. FDIC) only to those institutions organized as not for profit businesses. And obligate the banks to pay taxes on all forms of executive compensation to reduce the tendency of execs to loot their companies. Regulation is the weakest form of control, but I agree with Karl - those who break the law must go to jail.
