you had one free opportunity if not in the IPO.....the bounce at $38 on friday late morning.

You know the big boys wouldn't let it go negative so you coulda rode it from $38-$38.50 (depending on your fill) and rode a stop up and collected a buck or two.

Now....forget it.

Looking a lot like my only play in the market, GENU back in 2000. Opened at $10 and started a long slow decline to ZERO.

I loved all the people on FB who were saying "People said the same about GOOG."

Fundamentals... Ugh. The clueless are rampant!

One would think there would be a pop but there are probably so many people trying to get a decent price for the stock at the same time. Man oh man there must be some SCREEEEEEAMING going on over the phone lines at Morgan et al.

Looks like they're supporting it at $33 based on the tick tape.

it was priced wrong, bottom line.

if they went with the original range of $25-32 and set it at like $28 we'd be seeing a very different outcome right now.

Matt - six months from now it won't matter where it was offered at. To me this company isn't worth more than about 50 times earnings. Where does that put it? Anything more than that is just too rich. Another way to look at it. Is this company going to post a stream of income equal to Google? Equal to 1/10 Google? I haven't done my research but I doubt long term they can be 10% of Google. I'd say valuing this company for more than about $15 billion is a stretch. And that's way down from here.

I don't know anything about ChannelAdvisor except that it's CEO is an idiot.

http://wraltechwire.com/business/tech_wi....

"ChannelAdvisor CEO likes Facebook play despite lack of IPO 'pop'"

"I ended up with:

25% at $41
75% at $38.1
DCA: $38.80

"I felt pretty good about that and was able to get in at essentially the IPO price."

But guys, "...the FB IPO wasn't a failure"....according to MSM! Didn't you read the articles?

When the world doesn't behave according to what the puppeteers want, the explanations come flying out of MSM.
