3.29 north of Boston at the cheap place, though 3.39 is still prevalent

Will head to the 2's unless we get an active hurricane season as an excuse for the oil industry to gouge.

Under $3.00 a gallon in SC off of I-95. We just returned from a 2,500 mile road trip for a funeral.

3.12 here. Which beats 3.65, I guess. If the twitter-rumble about something about to go down in the Straits of Hormuz are to be believed, top off and hang on.

Thought this was interesting. My kid didn't want to get a license either. I had to practically force her to go get one cause I'm sick of driving her around.

My son is 18 but doesn't drive. He doesn't react well to surprises or loud noises... I'm not sure he'll ever be able to.

Land: That's exactly why I think it's being driven down now. So that we don't get $5-$7/gallon gas shock. Going from $3 to $4 or ever $5 for a VERY short period is a huge psychological difference than going from $4 to $5 or $6.

(Just using prices from around here, it's the shock of going considerably over whatever your local high price is that would be scary.)

I paid $1.24 for gas in Colorado at the end of 08. If the economy gets half as bad as most of us here on TF think it is going to get, we will end up as low or lower than that. Talk of $6 gas is completely totally bat**** crazy unless we either get a real dynamic economic recovery or WW 3. I am not betting on either of those.
