On Monday, however, Mammoth Lakes also became known for having filed for bankruptcy in the face of a $43-million breach-of-contract judgment brought against the town by a developer.

I thought Stockton, Ca. also filed a few days ago. Has anyone else heard this or did they decide not to go through with it. I think it's the largest city ever to file for bankruptcy if it did.
