Schultz, 58, joined Starbucks about three decades ago and later served as CEO until in 2000. He took the reins again in 2008 amid slumping sales growth after the company expanded too rapidly. The Starbucks leader has spoken on issues such as the high price of coffee, which he says is driven by market speculation.

Gosh, doesn't this CEO know that a number of TFers are quite adamant that the price of oil and everything else is simply due to supply and demand? I have to marvel at the number of tards that frequent this forum that cannot absorb the truth when it is spoon fed to them. It drips down their lips and chin, onto their respective bibs and never makes it to the bloodstream and finally the brain. Moreover if we stopped the pigmen from speculating they think their very own personal speculating activities will be curtailed as well, so its much better to have $5.00 gas and everything else going thru the roof.
