Significant revisions made, more-or-less in line with my "Want to win in 2012" Ticker....

Let's chat about it; if there are revisions to be made, let's have the debate as I expect to finalize the components there within the next two to three weeks.

Wooo! Love that it's running here too and not a totally separate blog. Will make it a lot easier to continue contributing.

Re: liberty to travel: I'd cut back on this. Drivers licenses are state issues not federal and it is far more reasonable to require basic age and skill requirements for operating a motor vehicle than burden an already overburdened court system. Additionally this form of liberty without regulation butts heads with passports.

No it doesn't. National borders are just that - national borders.

First impression of site: in desperate need of professional quality graphic design. You want to reach a mass audience this is mandatory. It doesn't need to be slick but it needs to be a lot easier to read.

thanks a lot... this was one of those actual spit the coffee out onto the keyboard and screen moments.

There was much debate about the logo... with some "experts" weighing in.

I hope we make a go of it this time. I'm rarin and ready in New York!!

Disagree. The right to locomotion is part and parcel of basic unalienable liberties.

....glad to see you address the "personal sovereignty" issue. I've been mentioning this as THE LAST BATTLE now...on and off here for about 2 years.

Of course you know this immediately puts us on every "Anti Government watch list" there is. :)

As long as there is an income tax....we're all debt slaves. Period.

Karl, what is your position on property tax as it pertains to the land you (supposedly) purchased and "own"?

If some 80 year old dude chooses to kick back on 5 acres in east bum**** with a well and a septic that he paid off 30 years ago....and he's not a leech****... why does the government have the right to hose him once a year for property taxes?

I REALLY this this should be a pay as you go system. You got city water... you pay taxes for the upkeep...same as city sewer.....

Seems to me a use based system is much more fair way to go about things.

.,....continuing my rant....I think a HUGE problem is mis allocation of funds!

I think ALL funds for building / maintaining roads and highways should come from fuel taxes. That's a no brainer!

We can not continue to let the states and fedgov put the fuel taxes into the General funds account(s).

No tolls needed. Seems like the roads should be treated like a common area in a condo....everone who uses them pays for their use through fuel tax....which MUST go ONLY for the upkeep of existing roads as well as building new ones.

So much of this **** is just common sense.

Anyway....I'm in.

I would like to see, as one of the First Principles, the Rule of Law. You have hammered and hammered on "start the prosecuting" and one of the greatest dangers is the arbitrary enforcement of law.

When there is no Rule of Law, when there is no "or else" as you have put it so well, the rest becomes meaningless.

Karl......the one issue that is not covered in the platform that I believe needs addressed in general is this..........

We are to the point now where the dollar is no longer salvageable in its current form......we are going to need either a new currency or a radical redefinition of the dollar. I believe this is an issue that is getting no where near the exposure it should be in general. The worlds banking elite are talking about it. We get stories every other week of countries working towards a new reserve currency (defacto redefinition of the dollar). Not being tin foil here but..1. the Fed Reserve charter ends in 1913. Whomever wins this election will have a direct influence on this issue. If the Fed is re chartered they will be the ones who get to decide on the direction of our currency. Using history as my guide it seems foolish to let this group of criminals define our society any longer going forward.

We must present a viable alternative.......and make it stick
Or we will have lost....... and all of your excellent analysis will be for not.

Is it conspiracy to say that the Fed reserve knows this and is playing their cards to maximize their continued control over our currency....Hell NO.....I believe it would be foolish to not believe this as it is not only human nature to preserve and increase ones power , influence and wealth, but also the overwhelming influence of self preservation that defines any persons motives.

The warning signs are all around us almost every day now.

The right to move is absolute. Because we have decided on a system of roads instead of rails, it means automobiles.

If the state thinks I am unable to properly exercise my right to move using a car, motorcycle, or truck, the burden should be ON THEM to prove it. Conversely, I should be responsible for anything that happens (they shouldn't mandate insurance either). If they can prove it to a jury, they can get an injunction against my driving (the same way if someone uses a gun irresponsibly can be banned from owning one).

Note that acting negligently - DWI - or brandishing a gun - is enough to trigger an investigation, I don't have to hit or shoot and hit someone. That doesn't mean they are free to set low thresholds.

Right now, if they think you are late with child support, you haven't paid some other levy, or for any of dozens of other whims TOTALLY UNRELATED TO DRIVING they can "suspend" your license.

I've seen the platform post-TSA. I've added two topics covering the small differences which are mainly semantics, but I should say excellent job and I can agree and support it totally!

I'll clarify - guns and cars are the same sort of thing - they are there to exercise your rights. Taxing, requiring registration, tracking, or requiring the state approve before you can get or use one is tyrannical.
