Congratulations on your contributions to losing the propaganda war with the Democrats on the debt ceiling. This often happens to a group of people who are unable to stand on principle.

Since the GOP is unable to:

a) Get a simple message people can digest and relate to;
b) Take a principled position and stick to it in a unified manner and
c) Find at least one eloquent person in your crew to do the talking,

the GOP has now lost no matter what "compromise" is achieved.

So, don't compromise. If you're going to lose the propaganda, at least win the principle.

You can have smaller government next week.

Don't raise the debt ceiling.

Why are you surprised? How many more times will you be fooled yet continue to believe?

Their actions are who they are, not their words.

They are sticking to their principled position. Their position is to lie to you and profit from it.
