I had a good chat with a classmate last night, he works at OCC in IT (Manages the HR System is the best way I can explain it.). He told me they are looking for all kinds of Entry-Level Bank Examiners. He knows of a lot of IT work available also around the country. http://www.occ.gov/about/who-we-are/care.... As much as this feels like it might be a joke trust me it is not. He even tried to recruit me for IT. He stressed very much that the OCC is NOT funded by taxes. Binney Posts: 4187 Incept: 2008-08-27 Riverhead, NY	aside from examining the banks, they are inundated with requests for documents from failed banks. For instance I have a client that had a mortgage in the 80s with Bank X. My client never received ( or if he did, never recorded) his Satisfaction of Mortgage. Bank X failed. My client is selling and the title report shows that the mortgage to Bank X is open of record. How do I clear this exception? I write to OCC and they tell me what institution is the ultimate sucessor.
