The intrepid Tim Pool (aka 'Timcast') and his ever-roving video camera has caught the NYPD redhanded lying to the courts and jury. Oh, say it ain't so!

NYPD loses face and first Occupy Wall Street trial
Published: 16 May, 2012, 20:33 Edited: 17 May, 2012, 22:57
This case could have been a slam dunk for the NYPD, had it not been for one thing: the video showing police claims of disorderly conduct during an OWS protest to be completely untrue.
Hundreds have been arrested during the Occupy Wall Street protests, but photographer Alexander Arbuckle’s case was the first to go to trial – and after just two days, the Manhattan Criminal Court found him not guilty.
Supporters of the OWS protest movement have already hailed the ruling as a major legal victory.
Arbuckle was arrested on New Year’s Day for allegedly blocking traffic during a protest march. He was charged with disorderly conduct, and his arresting officer testified under oath that he, along with the protesters, was standing in the street, despite frequent requests from the police to move to the sidewalk.
But things got a little embarrassing for the NYPD officer when the defense presented a video recording of the entire event, made by well-known journalist Tim Pool.
Pool's footage clearly shows Arbuckle, along with all the other protesters, standing on the sidewalk. In fact, the only people blocking traffic were the police officers themselves
His lawyers said the video proving that testimony false is what swayed the judge, and the verdict a clear indication that the NYPD was over-policing the protests.
The irony of the case, however, is that Arbuckle was not a protester, or even a supporter of the Occupy movement. He was there to document the cops’ side of the story.
A political science and photography major at NYU, Arbuckle felt the police were not being fairly represented in the media....

It's justifiably immoral to deal morally with an immoral entity. If you trade based on what other people say, you will lose money. Especially what I say. I won't be held responsible. Festina lente.
. . . a clear indication that the NYPD was over-policing . . .
No they weren't. They were flagrantly depriving citizens of rights and acting like the lying criminal ******* JBTs that they are.
And, of course, there is an extremely high likelihood that the cops will all skate in spite of proven perjured testimony, that the DA who prosecuted will still collect a fat salary and retirement in spite of bringing an obviously wrongful case against the protesters and not going after the cop perjurers, and that the cops will harass/persecute the videographer who provided the evidence against them. I would also not be surprised if Bloomberg and/or Albany lawmakers will attempt to take steps to criminalize any activity that may be used to document cop wrongdoing.

This appears to be a multi-day conference. Get the word out to those local! Saturday, June 2nd is likely biggest protest day.

Day Two of Bilderberg Conference 2012 in Chantilly, Virgina has seen perimeter security strengthened with this opaque vinyl covered fence surrounding the Westfields Marriott grounds erected hastily overnight:
The event has been was marked by a noticeable near total blackout surrounding domestic mainstream media coverage of both the event itself and the protest ongoing outside.
So, in order to get any reliable coverage from other than citizen media, one must look to the overseas press who were present, among them:
Croatian Television doing this spot interview in the middle of a driving rainstorm lasting much of the day which has kept the protest crowd limited to the most dedicated:
RT Russian Television doing the same for world viewers. In this case the citizen videographer streaming live during his own interview:
One of the more bizarre incidents today was the arrest and apparent force vaccination of a U.S. Military Veteran while in custody. What makes no sense in the story is the purported reason for the detainee to receive the vaccination for TB was to 'secure early release before court date'.
Tuberculosis vaccination among long term incarcerated subjects has become common place among prison population across the U.S. for valid reasons, among them, to limit and control the spread of the disease among confined and crowded prison environments. However, in this case the veteran insists he was given the option to await court date, for nearly one and one-half months, in-custody WITHOUT a vaccination or receive one in order to SECURE freedom. Confusion abounds over this instant viral video. Was it simply a BA test? Would he have misunderstood that much of the process? More answers need to be asked.
Here is the man himself speaking of the incident after his release only a few hours in detention, AFTER an inoculation?
And the incident that provoked his arrest:
And speaking of the secrecy surrounding the Bilderberg Meetings, here a line of clear questioning presented to one meeting attendee, Alan Greenspan by video blogger Luke Rudkowski of http://wearechange.org/ who caught him off guard with questions that provoked unscripted clumsy answers while his security detail fumbled attempts to block access.
And the same fine technique applied to Henry Kissinger:
You can view more incredible lines of questioning delivered by Luke as he astonishingly sneaks them in to many the world's most powerful elite here:
Tomorrow, Saturday June 2nd promises to see better weather and far larger protest action at the Bilderberg Conference in Chantilly, Virgina.

Day Three of Bilderberg Conference 2012 in Chantilly, Virgina has seen the largest outpouring of anger and rage at the global elites seen yet at this year's conference.
Tea Party and Occupy activists rub shoulders at Bilderberg protest With protest entering its third day in good spirits, even police officers raise the odd smile as they hold the line
The demonstration has been growing in numbers since early in the week, with Saturday being the most well-attended day of action by far.
Scores of protesters gathered at the entrance of the hotel, launching into a chorus of jeers each time a vehicle suspected of carrying Bilderberg attendees entered or exited the property.
"Get out of our country," yelled one. "Traitor," screamed another.
Breaking from the dishing out of verbal abuse, demonstrators took it upon themselves to light-heartedly tease the dozens of police officers ordered to keep them off the site of the meeting...
In this Ustream capture, one of many protestors wielding very loud megaphones keeps up an hours long barrage of ear shattering messages and wailing sirens directed at both police and world elitist inside the Marriott Hotel
Quote:
One young man with a megaphone initiated a "who's got the flattest flat-top among our law enforcement" contest. When the crowd decided upon its champion even a few officers were seen chuckling at their co-worker's expense...
The crowd believing they had secured a location within feet of the in-progress meetings took up position by the hundreds delivering a window vibrating cacophony of verbal blasts at high amplitude, uninterrupted for 15 hours straight.
Assault by perceived illegitimate authority often brings together odd-bedfellows and the Bilderberg Meetings has been no exception. In fact, in the scene below, Radicals, Leftist, Occupy, Tea Party participants, Oath Keepers and Conservatives alike eagerly shouted in common approval of the gentleman below who came to the gathering sporting a handgun strapped to his side:
Quote:
"Honk if you hate the new world order," protester Steve Miroy yelled by megaphone to a passing car.
Miroy, who described himself as "British by birth and a rebel by the grace of God", was the only protester who was visibly armed, proudly sporting a Colt 357 Magnum in a leather holster on his waist.
A Virginia resident since 1973, Miroy said: "If Virginia seceded tonight I'd be back here tomorrow with a gray uniform on."
He added: "These people rule the world. It's Satan's kingdom, they're the human form. They're really bad people."
In a show of further solidifying diverse elements marching shoulder to shoulder against the Bilderberg attendees, this group comprised of a young radical, war veteran and conservative historian join in an impromptu reenactment of the Revolutionary War Minutemen (faded image) marching around the hotel perimeter as if preparing for a future battle of immense proportions.
And, a comment which may offer a clue to the direction and future of activism in the United States, this from a protest participant:
Quote:
For McCarron, who participated in Occupy protests in Colorado, the motivation for attending the rally was simple: "A shadowy group of rich people gathering together, making their plans for the world; I'm not going to sit on my ass and let them do it. They're gonna hear my voice."
McCarton hoped the movements could find common ground and come together.
"It was funny, earlier today me and a Tea Party guy, we threw our arms over each other like 'Hey, here we are, we're working together on this."
"We're all kind of protesting the same thing, just different segments of it," he said. "Whenever we can we should get together."
As noise curfew time came and went at 11pm in Chantilly, Virginia, police had largely departed the scene leaving the protesters unhindered as they continued the all-day sound assault that brought to mind visions of a London Blitz, numerous air raid sirens simulated by multiple bullhorns warning of tough times ahead.
Tomorrow, Sunday, is the final day of the Bilderberg Conference.
Protesters all promise to usher in the day with a rousing wake up call.

Los Angeles City Hall Park is scheduled to reopen tomorrow, July 19th at 10am.
Since, November 1st, 2011 the park has been surrounded by a formidable and very sturdy fence system primarily to deter any 'reoccupation'.
The City Hall grounds have been restored with turf grass and plants along with an extensive cleanup campaign to return the park to it's former condition, actually better than original.
At this very same opening, which is purported to be part of a greater reopening ceremony inclusive of local press, the OccupyLA Group has decided at tonight's GA held at their now long-term alternate location, Pershing Square, to appear at the reopening ceremonies. Their intention is not clear and the organizing behind tomorrows reappearance at the formerly dubbed 'Solidarity Park' is not without disagreement among their own ranks.
Nonetheless, it is believed the Los Angeles Police Department will likely have a zero tolerance policy action against any participation at the opening event, call it free speech or by any other name.
This on the heels of just last weeks forceful breakup of the L.A. Artwalk chalking by 100's of riot police, promises to perhaps once again stoke another contentious standoff between authorities and OccupyLA who remain tenacious with a core group of activist who simply won't go away.
Stay tuned, the day may be eventful.

A professor in the Aurora area has started a petition to repeal Colorado’s Concealed Carry Act, in light of the recent mass-shooting that took place last week.
Professor Chad Kautzer launched the online petition at Change.org in an effort to help “protect the health and safety of University of Colorado employees and students.”
Professor Kautzer teaches philosophy at the University of Colorado -- Denver (CUD), the same school shooter James Holmes was attending for his graduate degree.
Professor Kautzer, who is also the director of the school’s “social justice minor,” lists the “recent mass shooting by CU Denver student James Holmes” as a reason to prohibit concealed firearms.
Well, it would be friggin ' lovely if I weren't the most vocal capitalist, carnivorous, Constitutionalist conservative at Occupy Denver but, gee whiz, so many who share my views think their job is done once they've bitched online.
What more do you want, other than all politically active pople who don't think and shop exactly like you to just disappear? I singlehanded prevented Occupy Denver from staging an anti-capitalism rally. And don't think for a second it was easy, or I haven't taken crap from the four vocal socialists.
Lead, follow or get the **** out of the way. You'll notice wanking about how someone else isn't running a political grassroots movement to your satisfaction while you relax in the comfort of your computer desk wasn't an option. I'm tired of armchair activist whining. You want Occupy Denver to reflect your beliefs. Then don't let me be the only one on the ground voicing those beliefs.
An article from another longterm member of Occupy Denver. Coz, hey, if what one member says speaks for them all them the same applies to another, eh wot?
There’s a sort of person one gets used to meeting when one is with Occupy; the armchair activist, the sideseat protestor, or, as I like to call them, people who Occupy Twitter. They come in many flavors. There’s the rabid progressive liberal who finds it personally offensive to discover conservatives at Occupy. There’s the conservative God, Guns and Gays issue-politics Republican who is convinced every “Occutard” loves Obama and joined the Occupation at the President’s behest. There’s those who voice support but also add that they wish we would protest <insert pet cause here>, and there are always those who second-guess every little thing we do; from allowing Denver’s homeless population to join our ranks freely and the burning of our own structures to the presence of cigarette smoke within fifty feet of a General Assembly – in a public park.
America has many opinions. The revolution should be about human rights. The revolution should be about the environment, with a side order of save the whales. The revolution should be run by Republicans, because God doesn’t like hippies and socialists have never successfully revolted. Everyone should take showers, because in the Battle of Valley Forge, George Washington may have been barefoot and sleeping in a ragged tarp in the snow, but he was clean-shaven. We need to be non-violent, like Gandhi. We need to arm ourselves and take to the streets, like the colonial Minutemen.
All of these people share something in common. It is that they have an internal vision of how the revolution should be run, and that they choose not to take their own advice. It is always “what you people should be doing”, and never “what I should be doing”.
I have a saying for the myriad almost-protestors who come down to Occupy and start off a conversation with a wonderful idea on which someone else should spend a lot of time and effort.
“I’ve got a full plate, pal. If you don’t want to do it, why should I?”
That not every element of the Occupy revolution is your cuppa tea is without question. What you should be asking instead, if you have any intelligence at all, is whether you consider today’s world situation to be tenable. Everything okay with you? With your family, your job? You fine with the political situation? More power to you, and how’s the weather on your planet?
Here on Earth, we’re facing a police state, economic collapse and a political court reminiscent of Mad King George (which ended well, I’m sure we recall). If you’re fine with all this, well and good. We wish you all the best. Go from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. May your chains rest lightly upon you, and may posterity forget you were ever our countrymen.
Ten years ago, Congress had an approval rating of 56%. According to CNN, these days Congress is running a solid 9%. If, like 91% of Americans here on planet Earth, you agree that these 535 utter twats are running our economy and country into the ground, then you have only one question to ask yourself.
Why aren’t you angry enough to do something about it?
Let’s be real here. Occupy is nothing more than a handful of ordinary Americans who have reached their limit, their “Eureka!” moment. When given the choice between the fiction of wealth or liberty, they chose liberty. You chose to stay in the comfort of your living room.
If ye prefer the tranquility of servitude to the animated contest of freedom, you have our blessings. If, however, you prefer the pretense of activism via Twitter and the internet to actually taking a stand, sit down before you hurt yourself. You are the most ineffective advocate on earth. Most people think you’re not only lazy, but a nutcase. And you are most certainly on the watch lists.
This is a DIY revolution. If not you, then who? If not now, then when?

EASTON, Pa. (CBS) – An Occupy Easton protester faces an attempted bank robbery charge following an arrest at an organized event at a bank – during which the “Occupier” was holding a sign that reportedly read “You’re being robbed.”
According to The Express-Times, Dave Gorczynski allegedly held cardboard signs outside a Wells Fargo Branch that read, “You’re being robbed,” while the other said, “Give a man a gun, he can rob a bank. Give a man a bank, and he can rob a country.”
Occupy Easton reports on their Facebook page that Gorczynski “was at the bank protesting the theft of our tax dollars, our homes, and our economy by the criminal banksters.”

Gorczynski allegedly did the same thing a short time later inside a Bank of America, prompting an employee to activate the panic alarm – reports The Express Times.
Police reportedly responded and located Gorczynski with the signs in question and arrested him.
“He is not the criminal. If the police were truly there to protect and serve the taxpayers, the banksters would be arrested and this man would be called a hero,” posted the Occupy Easton group.

Easton police Chief Carl Scalzo told The Easton-Times the investigating officers acted appropriately, saying, “I think our guys did what they had to do in this instance,” Scalzo said. “At the end of the day, if we get a report of a panic alarm at a bank, we’re going to respond accordingly.”
According to the group, Dave faces two felony charges including Attempted Bank Robbery and Terroristic Threatening and one misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.
The Occupy Easton group quickly organized “FREE NatureDave Gorczynski!” event Monday evening in support of Dave – marching to and protesting outside of the Easton Police Department.

Occupy the SEC Sues Federal Reserve, SEC, CFTC, OCC, FDIC and U.S. Treasury Over Volcker Rule Delays
New York, NY – February 27th, 2013
Occupy the SEC (OSEC) has filed a lawsuit in the Eastern District of New York against six federal agencies, over those agencies' delay in promulgating a Final Rulemaking in connection with the "Volcker Rule" (Section 619 of the Dodd- Frank Act of 2010).
Congress passed the Volcker Rule in July 2010 in order to re-orient deposittaking banks towards safe, traditional activities (like offering checking accounts and loans to individuals and businesses), and away from the speculative "proprietary" trading that has imperiled deposited funds as well as the global economy at large in recent years. Simply put, the Volcker Rule seeks to limit the ability of banks to gamble with the average person's checking account, or with public money offered by the Federal Reserve.
Almost three years since the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act, these agencies have yet to finalize regulations implementing the Volcker Rule. Section 619(b)(2)(A) of the Dodd-Frank Act set a mandatory deadline for the finalization of the Volcker regulations. That deadline passed over a year. Despite this fact, the federal agencies charged with finalizing the Rule have yet to do so. In fact, senior officials at the agencies have indicated that they do not intend to finalize the Volcker Rule anytime soon.
The longer the agencies delay in finalizing the Rule, the longer that banks can continue to gamble with depositors' money and virtually interest-free loans from the Federal Reserve's discount window. The financial crisis of 2008 has taught us that the global economy can no longer tolerate such unrestrained speculative activity. Consequently, OSEC has filed a lawsuit against the agencies, seeking declaratory, injunctive and mandamus relief in the form of a court order compelling them to finalize the Volcker Rule within a timeframe specified by the court.
The lawsuit names various officials at the following U.S. federal agencies: the Federal Reserve, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Occupy the SEC, a working group within the New York-based Occupy Wall Street movement, seeks to ensure that financial regulators protect the interests of the public, not Wall Street. For further information, visit http://www.occupythesec.org/ or email info@occupythesec.org.
