The amount must have been more than an ounce based on the charge. Wonder how may people this judge has placed in prison for doing the exact same thing as him. Guadalupe County Judge Mike Wiggins is charged with possessing less than 2 ounces of marijuana. Police reports show Wiggins was attending a conference at the Hilton Hotel when a bellman reported smelling what seemed to be burning marijuana on the fifth floor Monday night. Security traced the smell to the room where the 58-year-old Wiggins was staying. Police say Wiggins consented to a search, which turned up a grinder, rolling papers and a plastic bag of what appeared to be marijuana. He was released on $3,000 bond.
