Why are quarterly option prices more expensive than regular options that expire the same month? I was looking at September Spy puts and September quarterlys. It looks like the farther out of the money you go, the greater the difference.

A September put /is/ the quarterly unless you're looking end-of-month options. The predominant options are the regular expiry, not the EOMs. EOMs have a higher premium because of their greater term.
