Obamao's words directly address the 50 per cent plus who are on the take from the system in one form or another. He is saying: "It's okay to TAKE from those who are productive, because they did not get there on their own merits." It's the "they can afford it" mentality. This is NOT going to have a happy ending.

A question for those in a "pondering mood." How did we get from a largely self-directed population, organically connected through community structures (think churches and strong families, stable work environments, volunteer and charitable organizations) to a disconnected, highly-dependent, fractious mob, that is apparently ready to erupt into massive chaos the moment the SHTF?

My answer: this is no accident, but, rather, the result of careful "social engineering." Barack is the latest pitchman for those engineers. Is there anyone who didn't know this four years ago? Really, it's fundamental: either you believe in a society which begins with the individual, then the family, then communities of free association, etc., etc., or you believe in the statist model of top down, authoritarian distribution of everything (it takes a village.) In their model, YOU don't matter - only the collective hive. YOU only have identity through their approved collectivist models.
