I lost a 50 foot cedar, Bradford pears were down everywhere and some of the 'burbs of DC, mostly Montgomery County I think, were without power for over a week. Mari Posts: 1012 Incept: 2010-03-05 Central MD	Good luck guys. As Jack said, we had this the Friday before the 4th and it was wild. It seemed like the death eaters from Harry Potter had arrived... It traveled 600 miles in 10 hours and was honestly the wildest storm I've ever been in and includes several hurricanes in the Virginia/Maryland area and both the remnants of Camille (1969) and Agnes (1972) in western Pennsylvania. Edited to add: Jack! Check out weather.com - it's headed our way! AGAIN! But the O's won today and Ravens camp opened up for veterans so all is right with the world! ---------- I bleed purple and orange! I had never even heard of a Derecho until after ours. I gave up on the O's years (wow, maybe decades) ago. The Ravens though, love 'em. We put the roof on the Outback at Owings Mills. Had I known it was frequented by Baltimore football new(so as not to be confused with the likes of Johnny U, Tom Matte or Artie Donovan)royalty I might have swung by there once in awhile. In the recent past my street only flooded during hurricane Irene but it's under about 2.5 inches now. Lots of water.
