Big surprise...NOT

as posted on Buds Gun Shops facebook

It's official....we received our letter from GE Capital today that our merchant agreement will be terminated effective 2/18/2013. Although they originally told us this would only affect online sales, the letter indicates they are terminating both online and retail merchant business. We still accept credit cards and ACH/Echeck as well as checks by mail....and also offer our 90 day layaway plan....so we do have several other payment options. GE was just our only deferred interest finance option.

ACH/Echeck is the preferred payment option as you can quickly and securely pay online and still receive the lowest advertised cash discount price. Please keep in mind this payment option, like credit cards, is processed by a secure third party and not Budsgunshop.com. We must hold all orders paid via ACH/Echeck for 5 business days before the funding is confirmed and we can release/ship your order. The 5 day hold is really not an issue at this time as we are not shipping most orders within 5 days anyway....more like 2-3 weeks ! We are doing our very best folks....please be patient with us.....this too shall pass. :)

It may appear that the President has largely left gun owners right intact, however nothing could be farther from the truth. The President had recognized early in his Administration that he could not be re-elected if any effort was aimed at gun control. So he directed the BATF to enforce existing laws to the strictest degree possible. According to a ATF friend of mine in Fresno, this has eliminated 41% of the mom and pop gun shops in his 1st 4 years in office.

and

Now to my information. In 2009 a directive from Secretary Clinton to Andrew J. Shapiro US Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs instructed him to restructure ITAR importation policy. The directive was to eliminate 80% of all small arms/munitions direct commercial import sales within 8 years. He cut imports by 40% within 36 months of taking office and 80% in the 1st 48. He can strangle most American gun owners by eliminating munitions and their components.

Perhaps because of an expectation of too many defaults? And who wants to repossess their asset from someone who you know for certain owns a gun?

"He can strangle most American gun owners by eliminating munitions and their components."

So he intends to ban all machinists?

Great opportunity for small credit unions and an open source small business bookkeeping software.

Looks like QuickBooks, Quicken, Intuit and such are pulling the plug on any gun related transaction.

Is this Fascism? Sure seems like it to me - the merging of corporate and government power against the Rights of the people.
