We have had several people express a desire to contribute to the day-to-day operations of FedUpUSA over the last few weeks. In light of that, and the fact that for some, this may be the only way they can help, we have added a Donate button to the front page of FedUpUSA. Any donations made will help offset the costs that FedUpUSA has incurred, and are now being paid solely out-of-pocket with the limited funds that we already have. There is no minimum donation...any amount is welcome, and greatly appreciated.

Is PayPal safe?

You do not need an account to use it; you can use a credit card without signing up for an account.

If you're concerned about potential problems with PayPal, that is how you get aorund it. With a credit card you are also protected against unauthorized charges, and they have nothing other than your credit card number and address (no bank info)

I have used Pay Pal for more than 10 years for all kinds of things, including eBay transactions and have found it to be the best Internet payment system out there.

Krisb - Depends upon what information you enter when #1 you use your existing Pay Pal account or #2 you enter your one-time information when you make the donation.

Further Clarification on Donations:

I will not be posting names if I get them though, for the simple reason many WANT or NEED to be anonymous. I respect this.

However, we at FedUpUSA will know the names if they are provided. Even if they are not, every donation, no matter how small is very appreciated. My (and RJazz's) financial situation has been an open book for the better part of a year. Suffice it to say, it is not good.

We started FedUpUSA because we love our country, we care about the people of this country and NEEDED to find some way to help Karl make a difference. When things got dicey here on TF between those that wanted strictly an investment/trading Forum and those who felt the same way we did, I realized it would be necessary to separate the two so as not to escalate the friction, which was becoming destructive.

The effort it takes to run FedUpUSA has evolved into a VERY time consuming endeavor, especially with the constant-changing landscape of our economic situation and repeated interventions by our government and regulatory bodies. This means we have very little time to trade or learn about the market situation other than how it pertains to the 'bigger picture'. A good part of our income is derived from our trading account that has been very neglected, especially over the past month. In addition, I have missed work days and RJ in particular, has missed other opportunities to make money for and support our own family. We were very against asking for donations because we didn't want to (A) give the wrong impression (are we doing this for profit?) and detract from our mission or (B) make anyone feel guilty or obligated.

That being said, it became obvious that FedUpUSA would be at risk of failure if WE personally failed financially. If we were not able to sustain ourselves, like with our Internet, telephone and fax bills or you know, other little things like eating, the mission would be aborted involuntarily.

So, we have decided that it was something that was necessary and will be completely voluntary. The money goes strictly to help allow us to keep the fight going.

Our deepest appreciation goes to EVERYONE who has and continues to work hard in THEIR OWN WAY - all of you who have faxed, called, e-mailed, written, and in any other way, helped to spread the word and get the mssage out, make FedUpUSA effective. If anyone wants to donate, that too, is very appreciated. That being said, in all honesty, without SOME donations though, it is likely FedUpUSA's future is at risk.

however, i would like to ask to refrain from the sometimes angry tone towards foreigners (whatever place they are) i didn't choose to be born where i did and most of you didn't either

we're all in the same boat grounded by the ones who play ball over our heads and the last thing we should do is fight amongst ourselves leaving the field to the way smaller but smarter group that kept winning this game for the past 25 years especially because the larger group always falls prey to their own infighting over trivial things that can be solved over a beer or two

i wonder what happens now that the consumer machine of the US is stopped in its tracks, it will mean impoverishment for all those areas that built up their industries under the all seeing eye of the globalist industrialists always looking for cheaper labour ... helping to spread lower living standards around the globe .... now that that game is over it will be a reset for many more people (countries) than the small group that benefited from all this ... so it's about a larger picture than simply the us or europe or russia or whatever

what will be decided next, that we should fight on large battle fields to get rid of too many useless labour? and will we?

it's a global thing as governments worldwide lost their link to the governed and we should be angry with our own representatives solely, not with the consequences of their practices

There is a substantial difference between being EXTREMELY*****ed off at Foreign Governments (or government equivalents, that is, a foreign investor with explicit government backing who then threatens us) and foreigners in general.

The latter have done nothing wrong and as far as I know nobody over here on TF is particularly upset at them.

The former, on the other hand....

I don't believe anyone here at FedUp or TF have ever directed ire at the PEOPLE of ANY specific country or even in general pertaining to the financial/economic crisis. On the other hand, there have certainly been negative comments aimed directly at GOVERNMENTS both foreign and domestic - for good reason.

I'm away from home right now; when I get back, I'll be sending money in the name of Reaper Investments.
