Ok, since I have had to say it a few times.... this gets pinned.

OBVIOUS price moves that anyone with a terminal turned on or a TV DO NOT QUALIFY.

"The Dow is down 500 points!" is one of these, as are ANY OF THE OTHER PRIMARY INDICES.

INDIVIDUAL stocks, currencies and other NOT COMMON symbols are legitimate targets for "Breaking PRICE" posts.

THE DOW, S&P 500, NASDAQ AND RUSSELL ARE KNOWN TO ALL.

Further, MULTIPLE POSTS over the same time frame intended to "put things over the fold" are prohibited. So long as the previous thread on the same security or group is in here and has not rolled off to "Not So Breaking", posting a second item on the same topic (as opposed to following up on your original) is considered trying to "scream" as opposed to inform.

In short if I have it "in my face" on the front of page ANY financial web site or CNBC, its NOT BREAKING PRICE ACTION, because you are contributing nothing that everyone who is following the market doesn't already know, it will almost certainly be a duplicate, and if you're not paying attention to the market why would you want this information anyway?

EXCEPTION: Extreme futures movements outside of market hours ARE on-topic.

What part of "shall not be infringed" was unclear?
