We syndicate both directly and through Feedburner. The Feedburner links may be delayed somewhat, as their system must pull the feed file from us before presenting it to you. However, if you are interested in "Everything" they may be the better choice due to performance considerations. The previous two days worth of traffic will be returned in a feed comprising no more than 500 items. For this reason if you intend to track traffic in the high-volume feeds you will need to leave your reader open or items are very likely to be missed, as some feeds may contain more than 500 items in a two-day period. Only public forums (those which you can see without being signed on) are syndicated. Due to limitations in the AKCS software and RSS, there is no support for authentication; as such forums that require a signed-on user will not appear below. The first set of feeds below are from the Feedburner system; the second are our direct feeds. You may use either at your discretion. Note that while Feedburner can accomodate all RSS and ATOM formats, our internal systems operate only with RSS 2.0.We suggest that you use Feedburner if you wish to subscribe to the "Top" or "Everything" feed, or the "General" group, and us if you wish to subscribe to one of the other feeds. You may want to give special considerating to using the Internal feed for the "Breaking News" category as there time may be important and we will be significantly ahead of the Feedburner connection. We recommend (and use) Thunderbird here for both RSS and Email and find that it works well. Other readers such as "Sharp" should also function properly, as does the internal Internet Explorer RSS capability. For most RSS readers you can simply drag and drop the links below into your feed aggregation software and it should do the "right" thing from there. |
