Photo: Lending and purchasing are not the same transaction. If you want to ban all lending, just say so. Buying an equity interest is not a loan. All loans come with interest charged. Nobody will lend without it. Interest charged can be denoted any way you want, it's still, when analyzed honestly, interest. Therefore, you can either have lending or not. If you have it, then the problem you noted exists. There is only one way to deal with it, and that is to have recessions where debt and credit destruction take place via bankruptcy.
