The quote about Rockefeller thanking the newspapers for their closed lips wasn't actually recorded or officially reported, from what I could find. It was supposedly written based on what someone said that he said, much like George Bush's, "Why do you keep talking about the Constitution? It's just a ******n piece of paper!" comment. However, it is worthwhile to note that the group which David Rockefeller now is honorary chairperson, used to hold ABC News as a member last year: http://www.cfr.org/about/corporate/roste.... http://www.cfr.org/experts/world/david-r....
