In some cases you can get a diameter, if it passes in front of the star, and some radiation readings, but that leaves you with: R, mass and with a lot of assumptions, temperature. But the temperature is mostly bull**** given we don't know what the reflectivity/albedo of the atmosphere or surface is. A black body radiation model would get Mercury vs. Venus very wrong. That whole diamond planet thing a few months back was pretty hilarious. It is very cool that we are finding lots of little planets though. 2011-12-10 16:45:31
