Which hour of the radio show did he talk about this ?

Apparently the last hour - it was flagged on my Ticker thread yesterday within minutes of my posting the Ticker, strongly suggesting that EIB has The Ticker on RSS.

Well, if they do they got this one on their screen now too.

First heard the Cash for Clunkers tax thingee on the radio show, then read it on the Ticker.

I'll have to tell my pal who listens to that radio show that it was purloined from The Denns, as I call you. I'm always pushing him to read the Ticker's latest and greatest.

I'll be listening to that radio show today to see if there's an acknowledgment. Perhaps we can slide in a Ticker dittos if one of us calls and gets on.

Soros - I think I heard it in the third hour, around 2:45 or 2:50pm. Just coming back from the hardware (doing my part to starve the Beast), so I remember.

gen - im surprised you havent been contacted to appear on some of these shows...namely Andrew Wilkow on Sirius/XM. He's a Constitutionalist through and through.

Kunstler's economics commentary reads like it is drawn largely from this site. It makes sense that it would be. Not too many people will do the spadework to get clarity on the legal, constitutional, financial, and monetary issues--and keep abreast of all that's going on--unless it's their job. Too much work.

Mostly, it looks like few people will do it, even if it is their job. I'm thinking mainly of financial journalists. Imagine these guys sitting down to write every day, without the slightest idea what they're talking about, or the slightest interest in finding out. Gives you the horrors.

maybe Rush can have you on and you can get some more truth out to the sheeple? I bet he will be more than willing to give credit where credit is due. We are all in this together, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Your point about the bastions of Conservative Talk Radio ignoring the financial crisis is spot on. I have been ****ed off about that for over three years now. I stopped to listening to those guys when the the housing bubble was raging and mortgage fraud was rampant...problem is though, most of their sponsors were hawking exotic mortgages at the time making the housing bubble taboo.

Limbaugh in particular has been a dissappointment in all of this. He could have chosen to educate the J6Ps about what was really happening but didn't.

Plagiarism is just one more area where business ethics seem to have hit the skids in recent years. In my recollection, things like this would have been unthinkable ten or twenty years ago.

Your wrong in a way. Yeah, they may have copied you word for word without due credit but the message is out. That is what you wanted. The message is spreading keep it going and fight the good fight. Now is not the time cry over spilled milk. Keep it going.

Plagiarism is stealing. It is the theft of someone's talents and hard work. If a staff worker of EIB did this, they need to be fired because it question's Rush's integrity.

While Limbaugh shouldn't have done that, there is the possibility that some staffer printed it out and handed it to him and he didn't realize that the indented part was from your source (whom he credited) but the rest was you. I've inadvertently done that before on sites where blockquotes are merely indented, not highlighted. Usually I catch it and go "duh!", but it can happen.

If it was an honest mistake perhaps he'll correct it.

Like I said, if it was an honest mistake, then that's fine.

But heh, let's not let them off the hook on the meat of the issue - their willful refusal to address the looting-fest that has gone on over the last decade.

Genesis, I concur. Talk radio and others need to address this - the silence is deafening. It has been making me crazy that very few are speaking of this fraudulent looting in the media, or on political blogs other than a few economic ones.

I've been reading you for some time, but have never commented before today. My husband and I pulled everything out of the market in late 2007, because we saw this train wreck coming. We paid CASH for our home in May, and have everything else parked in 3 credit unions. Until I started reading the Ticker, we were starting to think the entire country had lost their minds. How could anyone with a brain not be seeing what we see??? Hubby is a doctor and also a 16 yr military veteran who worked with MI, so has spent enough time in banana republics to recognize the stench of an out-of-control oligarchy looting to their heart's content. It was blowing our minds that financial commentators here seemed blithely oblivious.

It would fantastic if Rush gives Gen a nod for the article. With 20 million+ listeners I'd imagine the Ticker's traffic would increase a smidgeon. What a great way to get the truth to more people. I'll be contacting EIB to request this, not that it will do any good, of course.

I would say 98.6% of the time Rush credits his sources. He routinely calls out blogs where he gets stories from, so I am sure it was just an oversight.

Most of "conservative" radio covers issues from a political perspective and as such, I don't expect them to cover the down and dirty economic issues. Just like market ticker doesn't cover political scandal, they don't cover economic scandal. In truth there is some overlap, but you get the idea.
