Mortgage is still woth BofA, but that's only because it was originally through CoutryWide, and is too far underwater currently to get a re-fi without dropping an extra $100-k cash on it to buy down the LTV, **** that.
But, MERS and a quit claim might be used to take care of that in the long run (still undecided).

BofA is scum, and I hope everyone that can heeds the request in this ticker. They need to feel the anger of the good Americans that are getting tired of their bull****.

It can all start with one bank. Couldn't think of a better candidate than BAC.

I already did this four years ago, basically for the same reason, and sent a nasty letter to Lewis explaining why.

One thing I've noticed. I belong to two CUs and the drive thrus at those are always jam packed and hardly anyone is inside the branch.

Now I pass by a BAC branch and a Capital One branch that are near my house a couple of times a day. The drive thrus are almost always empty but everyone is parked outside and doing business inside the branch. Wonder why so many need face time with the bankers.

I have been for a couple years now... every client I see who has an interest income statement from BoA gets 'the lecture', with a side of rant. This just gives better ammo, on a level ALL my folks can understand. Thanks for pointing this out, Gen.

Only bank I can recall that proudly announced they will give credit cards to illegals without a SS number. Now this. Bank of Anti-America.

This doesn't make any sense. It's up to you to boycott the national bank for all the things mentioned over the years, but the decision to boycott the national over a local mgr's poor decision doesn't hold water. Show the letter or email or anything that came down from national to this branch mgr and that's a different story. Otherwise, it just makes sense to boycott that branch or get that mgr fired. My $0.02.

Did you watch the videos? The branch manager said it was 'COMPANY policy.' When the BAC Exec was questioned by FOX about what policy this was, his only response was that the branch manager 'misunderstood' the policy - but he dodged all attempts to reveal exactly what that policy was in the first place and give us opportunity to judge for ourselves as to whether or not she 'misunderstood' it.

Somewhere out there either a branch manager is completely brain dead and can't understand company policy with regard to American flags or BAC has a policy that's quite clear, and she understood it just fine.

The millions to ACORN didn't come from a small rogue branch.

Boycott everybody that took tarp funds. Let them die.

Advocating the removal of your money because some idiot removed the flags is a little harsh. Now should anyone have their money at BofA is another matter. I'll support this just because I think we should starve the beast.

It doesn't have to make sense. For the past two years, Karl has been making sense. The Bezzle continues unabated, because Americans won't get off their fat asses. If BAC pre-empted a half hour of America's Got Talent to run an info-mercial, this boycott would have happened intantly thereafter.

When logic doesn't spur action, use emotion. Their actions (corporately) have been fraudulent and indefensible for YEARS - maybe this one indiscretion from one branch will provide the emotional spark to light the piles of tinder they've been piling up around their scum-infested corporate body.
