You've proven time and time again that he has perjured himself. Ultimately, is it Congress that needs to regulate this and start an investigation? Outside of Ron Paul, Congress is a bunch of corrupt pussies that won't dare do such a thing. This coming election is critical to be able to start to clean up this mess.

of course he has. What will come of it? imo nothing.

that does not mean you should not point it out though just for historical purposes when "they" look back and say "I didn't see this coming", and "who's to blame".

I am a lowly construction worker and knew economic trouble (maybe not all the details but I knew something was terribly wrong.) was coming years ago. So if I could see it and highly paid economists could not maybe I'm in the wrong business, or the economists and gov officials are just paid to lie.

enjoy life now for these are the good times compared to what is coming.

"We must not permit federal officials, including Bernanke, to come before Congress and thumb his nose at the rule of law"

What about Geithner? Here they, the senate, had chance to stop a crime before it even took place, but they appointed him anyway. They knowingly looked the other way to appoint a crook.

I would suggest to everyone to read "Animal Farm" and decide what chapter we are in.

The crime becomes clearer with each Fed testimony while the harm done is increasing. The 'under', that the Fed is saving our economic system prevents prosecution because due to fear of triggering an economic correction. When it becomes clear that Fed actions are inneffective and the Fed is blamed for the economic correction, then prosecution will begin. This makes the Feds current position: 'prevent economic correction or face criminal persecution', makes them desperate to pretend, though the math does not change.

ANd the bailouts were extortion.
Blatant fraud, racketeering, and extortion, at the highest levels, smells like treason.

Yep at least Ron Paul is just a pussy. And I'll say the same for Bunning. Lot of bluster and no big ole brass clankers.

I do not expect honorable behavior from dishonorable men no matter what position of authority they may hold. When truth is conveniently set aside by those in authority, you no longer have a Country under God.

wouldn't be surprised if backroom deals were made ahead of time, to grant total immunity to anyone involved in "saving the world from collapse".

By any means necessary was the rule of the day. If laws had to be broken, so be it. They have all perjured themselves many times over. Nothing will happen.

It's the "I want it now and I will do what I want" behavior that has reached its way all the way to the top despite laws and common sense. Preemptive wars, backroom deals, shady accounting all in the name of "but they were going to do something or the financial system was going to fail, etc."

so what other outcome did you expect when they started this crap in 1982?

If they had left the interest rate to the market then instead of interfering there would be the CAPITAL to support the system.

Only the wealth would have been in the supposedly wrong hands.

Oh forgive me the Russians are coming the russians are coming.

Now we have the Russians stealing our oil. LOL

And we have spent/borrowed 10 trillion and counting on defense for what?

Booga booga booga
ROFL

How are the roads there?

Doesn't matter no one be driving soon anyway. LOL

Anyway pulling the military out of Haiti sends a message that invading Cuba and Ven. off Iran on, especially with Pakistan and Iran progressing with the pipeline.

The Russians can have the oil.

They sliced and diced it in Aus.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. I remember a book titled "Greed and Glory on Wall Street-The rise and fall of the house of Lehman.

Seems as if a similar situation arose in the '80's. Lehman was forced to mark to market and subsequently became insolvent and was bought by Sandy Weil at Am. Express.

Glucksman, Weil, Dick Fuld, Pete Peterson, Robert Rubin were among the players.

Perjury only applies to small people and not to kings and dukes and such.

Princeton (where he taught) has an honor code that has been in effect for over 100 years http://www.princeton.edu/studentguide/ac..... As a student, you must write and sign a pledge before you turn in a paper and take a test. If you are found to have cheated, the consequences are very clear and stern (expulsion, suspension).

As a professor, Bernanke was responsible for administering that code. Quite the irony.

Our only hope is that kharma does indeed exist.

Hitler stood up and said he had no apologies for his unlawful actions because he was saving the nation after the Night of the Long Knives. Ignoring the fact it was his own thugs he was bringing back under control. From that point on there was no point in discussing the rule of law in Germany since they didn't call him on it. If there were voices against it I have never heard of them. Surely they were a weak minority if they spoke.

We also are past the rule of law being a valid concern. They have invoked saving the nation from their own misdeeds when they rammed through the tarp and nobody with sufficient power called them on it. How strikingly history repeats! It is simply a question of how badly it ends once you start down this road. Perhaps this time with the web and computers the dissenting voices will be remembered.

This smug, bearded, ponzi-enabling, arrogant fsck is going to do more perjure himself, if they keep this bulls#!t up, and the pitchforks start to appear.

The chronic cranius rectumitis and blatant disregard for rule of law, by these ass-hat sycophants is ruining the country for the rest of us.

For the question of whether Bernake perjured himself. Were his lips moving while under oath, than generally the answer is yes.
